Okay, so remember this? AMC was going to be showing something innocuously called ‘Mad Men Special’ starting in June.
It has now been renamed (or probably just, y’know, named), you guessed it, The Best of Mad Men. They’ll be pouring it in between their programming at all kinds of (mostly) odd hours (specifically, half-hours) for the next two months starting, according to their schedule, on June 15th.
So that’ll be fun.

Well that explains why my cable guide has Mad Men in half hour blocks. I was about to ask somebody here about that.
Aren’t they supposed to rebroadcast season 1 again before season 2 starts?

There will be an all-day Season 1 marathon on July 20.
Check our “About” page for the latest scheduling info; we keep it updated to the very best of our ability.

We do?
Hunh! Who knew?

Thanks. I wouldn’t have thought to look there because I was thinking “about this blog” not “about this show”.
Not to ask you to do more work, but how about keeping the current MM TV schedule as a link in the right hand column or as a page?
Naw, I actually do want to give you more work, since you keep sideswiping me with maddening Pete Campbell quotes!

Actually, OG, that’s a good idea (yes, I’m leaving soon, car’s packed, son is in the shower).
AMC has a really awkward schedule thingy on their website. Awkward as in, TV Guide linked to us, not to AMC, for schedule information. And I’ve actually found that this is not an AMC thing. I haven’t seen a TV network website yet that is easy to navigate. It’s like they don’t want you to find their schedules.
Anyway.
