I have written to the spam people and am hoping they will someday answer. I sent everything, including your IP.
Wisefish, try a different computer; the IP address is tied to the internet connection, not the email address. Do you have both work and home computers? Or perhaps you can stop at a public library for fifteen minutes, just as an experiment?
There’s a software product called Akismet Spam, it comes with WordPress, it cleans the spam automatically. Otherwise, mere humans could never keep up. It’s Akismet who saved you.

Thank you, I think it was starting to give me ADD.

Works for me.

Just doing a little test with a different email address to see if my comment posts directly, or if it still goes to spam.

Alrighty, another test.
I actually registered with WordPress.
My username was taken though! I can’t imagine who took my “wisefish” name! So I am “wisefish8″ now.
I really hope this works now, for my sake and YOURS!
Testing, testing, 1, 2, 3!

YOU MADE IT!
YAY!

Good news! Sorry to be such a bother.

Yeah, except this one was in spam.
All I can say at this point is, be patient, your comments always show up eventually, and we value them.
There are other WordPress users posting about this issue in the forums, and so far no one’s getting good answers.

Wisefish, the spam people contacted me to let me know they fixed the problem, so we should be fine.

I have noticed that my comments have been posting immediately today! I feel so … free!
Thanks for straightening it out for me.
And thank you “spam people!”
