My guess is that it was another "Giovanni" original (the designer she had worked with when she was younger; the one whose little mini-thing she modeled for Francine). My thinking was, it is much bolder a design than what Betty typically wears, and features the hot pink which may be the same pink from the mini-thing, and therefore could be from the same collection. Plus it would give her that much more impetus to wear it to her first venture back into the modeling world; a designer original. The AMC site not only does not feature a photo of that dress in their photo section, but doesn't even feature anything from the photo shoot itself, which is intensely negligent.
