In Babylon, Fred, referring to his morning Screwdriver, says “Breakfast without orange juice is a hell of a long day”.
It wasn’t until 1969 that Anita Bryant, the new spokeswoman for the Florida Citrus Commission, stated the tagline, “Breakfast without orange juice is like a day without sunshine”.
It’d be fun if we could do like, Tuesday Anachronisms, but I doubt we’re gonna find that many.
Happy New Year, y’all.

I watched How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying tonight. I’ll probably blog about it. Anyway, during one scene they say that for 100 years, the company slogan has been “A Day Without Wickets Is a Day Without Sunshine.”
I swear to God!
The movie was 1967. The show ran on Broadway from 1961 to 1965. It’s still too late and it’s not orange juice, but it’s intriguing.
